Monday, March 3, 2008 – A Hollywood Stroll

The first photographs with the new camera, a Nikon D200 – just a stroll down Hollywood Boulevard, noticing things –

Churrigueresque (Spanish Rococo) detail at 6743 Hollywood Boulevard – for a time this building from the twenties housed the Hollywood Erotic Museum. That didn't last long, but the building remains, empty and spent.

The Cinegrill at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – the first Oscars were held in the ballroom here in 1927, and Marilyn Monroe was "discovered" as she lounged about that the pool here. Now we have a mysterious message.
