Wednesday, September 12, 2007 – Hollywood Hills

Movie directors work with their cinematographers to frame shots just right.  Here are the Hollywood Hills, where the directors and cinematographers and celebrities live, framed by the framing at the entrance to the Director Guild of America headquarters on Sunset Boulevard at Harper – as everything out here is self-referential in some way.  It's all smoke and mirrors.
