So, what's with the three prop hotrods parked on Hollywood Boulevard just west of Vine?

Ah – the Pussycat Dolls are shooting a music video at the Frolic Room, next to Pantages at Hollywood and Vine. The Pussycat Dolls are that hybrid, a dance and burlesque ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, then "re-cast" as a music group in 2003. They released their first single in 2004, and have gone to fame from there, cavorting about in lingerie and pin-up outfits – and singing, after a fashion. They were in pretty much in residency down at The Viper Room on Sunset from 1995 to 2001 - former members include Carmen Electra, Christina Aguilera, Christina Applegate and others. They just performed at the MTV Movie Awards, and it seems they dropped by here to shoot a music video.  It’s just another day in Hollywood.
