From our friend in New York

    These photos are of my violin which was made in the mid-1600s by Jacob Steiner or a student of Jacob Steiner. Using my laptop, I operated the camera remotely with available light coming through my dining room window. In each shot I have chosen a specific point to focus on such as the bridge, tuning peg, scroll, chin rest, or fine tuner on the E string.
