	Saturday, December 5, 2009 – A Dark Garden Dark clouds rolling in off the Pacific on a dark December Saturday in the gardens of the Crossroads of the World, Sunset Boulevard at Cherokee –


	A rose being all weird –


	Just another day in paradise, and this is Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia reginae), the official flower of the City of Los Angeles. It figures.

Nearby, a nasty looking succulent –

This garden is not friendly –
