Hollywood First National Bank 6777 Hollywood Boulevard, at Highland the building went up in 1927 Meyer and Holler, the architects, also designed the Chinese Theater one block west.

In the haze, the El Capitan Theater, 6838 Hollywood Boulevard opened in 1926 as "Hollywood's First Home of Spoken Drama" the exterior was designed by the Stiles O. Clements of the architectural firm of Morgan, Walls and Clements. His owl lost a wing.
