Summer Fireworks

Summer really ends on Labor Day, no matter what the calendar says. And there's no better end to summer than a big fireworks show down at the river just after the sun sets on the last day of August.  That's how they do in the middle of America, and in Cincinnati, Ohio – the sleepy Queen City on the banks of the Ohio – you go up to Mount Adams, above the city on the east, and watch the sky explode to the south.  They set off everything from the town on the other side of the river, Newport, Kentucky.  They call it Riverfest. It's All-American amazing.
