Monday, March 1, 2010 – Oscar Ready

Sunday, while everyone in Los Angeles was at home watching the Lakers game, or the watching Canada win the Gold in that hockey game at the Winter Olympics up the coast in Vancouver, they shut down Hollywood Boulevard here and trucked in the big Oscar – and put up all the giant signs and assembled the bleachers and the elevated walkway and all that. This coming Sunday will be the big day here, the Academy Awards down the street at the Kodak Theater. It's what we do.
