Wednesday, December 22, 2010 Double Rainbow

Rainbows over the Hollywood Hills, Wednesday, December 22, 2010

Los Angeles - we had the coolest summer on record here, and in late September the highest temperature ever recorded downtown - 113 before the sensors failed at noon - and now the heaviest rain in many decades six days of it, with the last day bringing a massive storm heavy rain all afternoon, and thunder and lightning too. And then it stopped, or slid off to points east. This is late afternoon some rain still falling, but where it has cleared a bit, a double rainbow over the Hollywood Hills. We do high drama out here.

Step out the front door. Down in the courtyard, rain in the pool, in spite of the rainbows out back

Look up. That's west out toward the Pacific, way out beyond Century City. Things are getting better. They always do.
