Thursday, January 7, 2010 – Coastal Fog

Just another January afternoon in Hollywood – cloudless brilliant sunshine and deep shadows, in the mid-seventies with a light breeze, and generally perfect – but there was the drive to Santa Monica on some errands, and a wall of fog at Ocean Avenue. One block in from the ocean it was summer, all the way to Arizona. But cross the street and it was another world. Winter is like that out here.
