Always on the lookout for the essence of Hollywood, and here it is in the Ivar Avenue window of Amoeba Music on Sunset – a shot of the glass skyscraper that is Sunset-Vine Tower, with a few things in the foreground –

And a block east, the massive studio complex where everything pre-teens in America care about is in continual production, Nickelodeon on Sunset –
