Well, it's been real.  And yes, that's the late Ernie Kovacs – in 1962, after leaving a party hosted by Milton Berle, he made the mistake of trying to light a cigar while driving his Corvair station wagon in light rain at night, and wrapped it around a pole at Beverly Glen and Santa Monica Boulevard.  Jack Lemmon had been at the party, and Lemmon identified the body.  That was long ago, and this is an old radio shop down on Melrose Avenue near Gower.  Radios used to have tubes.  And the past is odd out here.
