Former Hollywood Dog and Cat Hospital, 940 North Highland Avenue, Hollywood

The former Hollywood Dog and Cat Hospital at 940 North Highland Avenue – now home to Electric Entertainment, a film and television production house. It's from the thirties – Streamline Moderne, but with the big dog on top, and a bas-relief appliqué on the west façade – hunting dogs and ducks on the wing. It's one of the strangest buildings in Los Angeles.
