Monday, July 12, 2010 – Sun Wall

Wave mural on the northeast corner of First and Western in Los Angeles' Koreatown, photographed Monday, July 12, 2010

Back in the sixties that William Blake thing about seeing a world in a grain of sand was all the rage – it was a trippy time. But sometimes it's not a grain of sand, it's a painted wall in Los Angeles' Koreatown, like this one on the northeast corner of First and Western. It'll do.

But you say it's nothing? Blake ends with saying "some are born to sweet delight" and "some are born to endless night." So yes, it's just a wall, and it isn't.
