Wednesday, August 11, 2010 – Colony Vixen

Mural at The Colony on North Cahuenga, just off Hollywood Boulevard at Raymond Chandler Square - "The Modern-Day Tale of a Society Vixen"

The hot new club in Hollywood – from SBE of course – is The Colony on North Cahuenga, just off Hollywood Boulevard at Raymond Chandler Square. It's so far beyond hip that mere mortals see it from a distance and despair – they won't ever get in. And it's wrapped in odd artwork, like this on the south wall – "The Modern-Day Tale of a Society Vixen." They know their clientele. And their clientele is awesomely unaware and doesn't know there is such a thing is self-reflection. They won't get the irony.
