Yep, riptide flags are flying. Los Angeles kind of empties into the Pacific where the channel at Marina Del Rey lets all the sailboats in and out – the city flushes itself of the rich. Playa Del Rey is on one side of the channel and on the other side it's Venice Beach and then Santa Monica and on up the coast to Malibu. If this were Sedona they'd talk about the Psychic Vortex here – there are lots of odd vibes in the air. Even staring north at Santa Monica seems spooky.
